Berzerk - Single - Eminem

by shoy shoy shoy Eminem is the greatest music artist alive. Done.

by Asfhkk Do you guys realize how he brilliantly and subtlety makes fun of every "popular" rapper? The entire second verse is him imitating how unintelligent and dull new rappers verses are. At the end of the verse he says;
"Dumb it down, I don’t know how (huh-huh) how how
At least I know that I don't know
Question is are you bozos smart enough to feel stupid"
He basically says every rapper is too dumb to figure out he's actually making fun of them. I don't know, man, people that say this song is horrible or that he lost his touch or whatever need to pay attention to Eminem's phenomenal word play. This is exactly why he is the greatest lyricist alive.

Born: October 17, 1972 in St. Joseph, MO

Genre: Hip-Hop/Rap

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

To call Eminem hip-hop's Elvis is correct to a degree, but it's largely inaccurate. Certainly, Eminem was the first white rapper since the Beastie Boys to garner both sales and critical respect, but his impact exceeded this confining distinction. On sheer verbal skills, Eminem was one of the greatest MCs of his generation — rapid, fluid, dexterous, and unpredictable, as capable of pulling off long-form narrative as he was delivering a withering aside — and thanks to his mentor Dr. Dre,... Along with OutKast, with whom they were closely associated, Goodie Mob was among the first Southern rap acts to attain nationwide recognition, particularly with their classic debut, Soul Food (1995). The group unraveled after only its third album, World Party (1999), when Cee-Lo broke away for a solo career, and overall their recognition was much more critical than commercial. All the same, Goodie Mob's reputation as a pioneering Southern rap act remains firmly in place, and that reputation was considerably... Full Bio

Halcyon Days (Deluxe Edition) - Ellie Goulding

by buizel123 It is absolutely stupid how Interscope/Polydor is making us rebuy Halycon just for the new tracks. release them seperately.

by Tiny1641 I love me some Ellie Goulding but why make us buy an album we already own? It would be great if you made it as a separate EP, kind of like with Lana Del Rey's Paradise.

by DesmondR Her voice is incredibly mesmerizing, and the way she trills her ending notes gives me chills, gah! She better win awards this coming year, she deserves them more than A LOT of artists. I mean, you compare the lyrics of Dead in the Water or Hearts Without Chains to some cheesy number like…Oh, I don't know, We Can't Stop? 8) As catchy as it is, Ellie holds the words of a genuine artist. Unique. Gut-Wrenching. Pure heart and magic in just 3-4 minute-long songs. It's unbelievable.

Joy of Nothing - Foy Vance

Guiding Light (feat. Ed Sheeran) BookletDigital Booklet - Joy of Nothing Born: 1974 in Bangor, County Down, Ireland

Genre: Singer/Songwriter

Years Active: '00s, '10s

Though he spent most of his formative years in the grim surroundings of 1980s Belfast, singer/songwriter Foy Vance's musical vision is the product of an entirely different sort of nervous tension — the cross-racial friction, harmony, and disharmony that gave rise to jazz, blues, and soul in the American South, where Vance, the son of a traveling church minister, spent the pivotal first five years of his life. Drawn particularly to the spiritual aspect of those music forms, Vance took his cues... Full Bio

Ghosts - Single - Mayday Parade

by nall3y And they're continuing to change my life.. This song is absolutely amazing. From the lyrics, to the melody, the harmonies to the instrumentals.. It's constructed perfectly. Mayday Parade is the perfect example of today's worth-listening-to music. Thank you, Mayday.

by Coltonlesterrrr Mayday Parade is my all time favorite band, has been since i was in the 7th grade. Im now a senior. I thought with their absolutely PERFECT last album, there was nothing more they could do, and i honestly thought this album would not be very good. But from this single; God i was wrong. They never stop amazing their fans. BRAVO.

by Megannw323 Mayday is at it again with their slow opening and catchy breakthrough. The rifty guitar solo brings back a little old school but once the second half of the song hits, it's everything we've always loved and expected from Mayday. The harmonies flowing, beautiful piano, a sweet melody line, violin, and best of all, the overlapping voices(my favorite). These features are why I absolutely love the music Mayday makes. They are extremely talented and creative. Great job again!

Inland - Jars of Clay

by JOC fan I was lucky enough to score an early copy of Inland at the Jars show in Knoxville TN on Aug 17th, and I haven't stopped playing it since! Let me rephrase that: I CAN'T STOP playing it! These guys have been playing together for 20 years now and it's kind of amazing how much they've grown and matured as a band, musicians and writers over the years. Every CD they put out sounds completely different from the last one, yet all their songs weave together in a tapestry of art and compassion, personality, humility and grace that only Jars can deliver! From the moment "Flood" crashed through the barrier between Christian and mainstream radio back in the 90s, it seems like they've spent their career fighting and rebelling against the rules and stereotypes of the so-called "Christian rock" genre, but they've never really been a "Christian rock" band. They're Christians who happen to be in a rock band ... and there's a big difference! Inland marks their escape from all those stereotypes and rules, to the world of just plain great music! It's a masterpiece collection of 12 songs completely unlike anything they've ever released! From beginning to end it haunts and breathes and stirs and addicts, each song telling part of a living story that melts together into a profound picture of love and humanity, tempered with that trademark brutal honesty Jars fans have come to expect! Standouts are the title track "Inland", full of wisdom and longing reminiscent of a father waiting for his prodigal son to come home; the rocking "Loneliness & Alcohol" that will get inside your head and scream your name louder than any brown-bagged bottle; the catchy "Reckless Forgiver" you can't help but tap your leg and sing along to; and the bittersweet whimsy of "Fall Asleep" that makes you feel like you're wandering through the soul of a classic children's book! These guys are awesome (not only talented, but quite possibly the nicest guys in music; there is no pretense with them)! This CD is awesome! Go get your copy, and go see them live when they come around on tour! You won't be disappointed!!!

by johnwehrle After hearing a number of these songs live and online, i'm really excited about this new album from Jars…There are few bands where I buy the entire album without hesitation. This is one of those bands…they have a great sound with insightful lyrics that just make life better…I hope this jump starts the second half of their career.

by bachchamp YOU NEED TO ADD THIS ALBUM TO YOUR LIBRARY. It is superb, awesome, sticks in your head, stays on repeat 24/7.

Million Miles - Single - TV On the Radio

Formed: 2001 in Brooklyn, NY

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s, '10s

The Brooklyn-based group TV on the Radio mix post-punk, electronic, and other atmospheric elements in such a creative way that it only makes sense that their core duo, vocalist Tunde Adebimpe and multi-instrumentalist/producer David Andrew Sitek, are both visual artists as well as musicians. Rock N Roll - Single - Avril Lavigne

I GOT THE FIRST REVIEW!!!

by sierramarie3 omg omg !! am i the first one to download this ??? i waited so long for this song to come out on itunes !! AHHHH . im so happy now !! its absolutly amazing !!! <3333 5 STAR RATING !!

Born: September 27, 1984 in Belleville, Ontario, Canada

Genre: Pop

Years Active: '00s, '10s

Avril Lavigne first appeared in summer 2002, touting an addictive debut single (the spunky pop/rock gem "Complicated") and a skatepunk image that purposely clashed with the polished glamour of mainstream pop. Lavigne, who was 17 at the time, quickly rose to teen idol status, selling several million copies of her debut album, Let Go (the best-selling album by a female artist in 2002), while inspiring a genuine fashion craze with her penchant for tank tops and neckties.
