Bones, a darkly amusing procedural entering its seventh season, is inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs. Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) is a highly skilled forensic anthropologist who works at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington, D.C., and writes novels on the side. When the standard methods of identifying a body are useless (when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed), law enforcement calls on Brennan for her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim's bones. While most people can't handle Brennan's intelligence, her drive for the truth or the way she flings herself headlong into every investigation, Special agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) of the FBI's Homicide Investigations Unit is an exception. A former Army sniper, Booth mistrusts science and scientists - the "squints," as he calls them - who pore over the physical evidence of a crime. But even he cannot deny that the combination of his people-smarts and Brennan's scientific acumen makes them a formidable duo. In last season's final episode, Brennan stunned Booth when she revealed the news that she was pregnant with his child. In the Season Seven premiere, we pick up with the new couple well into Brennan's pregnancy. Still seeing the world from radically different perspectives, Booth and Brennan grapple with the issues surrounding the upcoming birth of their child - all while continuing to deal with a series of gruesome and baffling crimes. And this season brings more than a baby. Our team will also have to contend with a nefarious tech-savvy foe who uses his unparalleled skills to challenge Booth, Brennan and the squints to solve a string of murders designed to embarrass and humiliate them.
HDTV-PGClosed CaptioningVideoThe Memories in the Shallow Grave When the Jeffersonian team identifies the remains of a woman found in a paintball field, they discover two Missing Persons reports in her file. Booth (David Boreanaz) and Sweets (John Francis Daley) interrogate the victim’s husband (guest star Brad Greenquist) and learn that she suffered from retrograde amnesia, but when squint Wendell Bray (guest star Michael Grant Terry) learns that she also survived a bullet wound, inconsistencies in her medical records uncover a surprising crime linked to her murder. Meanwhile, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth adjust to their new life as an expectant couple and deal with the forthcoming changes in their home life. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoThe Hot Dog in the Competition The Jeffersonian team identifies the remains of a competitive-eating champion, just days before the start of the Gluttony Games, a premiere eating competition with a $10,000 prize at stake. The remarkable work of new squint—and former juvenile delinquent—Finn links obscure evidence found in the belly of a snake with laws of physics that helps solve the crime. Despite his brilliance in the lab, Finn is met with hostility and skepticism, leading Cam to question her decision to give him a chance to start anew. Meanwhile, Booth is caught off-guard by an announcement Brennan makes about their baby. To diffuse the tension between them, the couple agrees to experiment by putting themselves in each other’s shoes. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoPrince in the Plastic After the remains of a female toy company executive are found shrink-wrapped with a Prince Charming doll, the company’s CEO (guest star Morgan Fairchild) gives Booth and Sweets access to the company headquarters’ highly classified prototype lab, where details of the victim’s personal life begin to emerge. Meanwhile, Sweets, with the support of his girlfriend, squint Daisy Wick (guest star Carla Gallo), prepares for his gun certification test despite Booth’s opposition to Sweets carrying a weapon. Mom-to-be Brennan, wonders whether she will be a good mother and uses the case as a way to understand the importance of toys and playing with her child. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoThe Male in the Mail Dismembered remains are discovered in several mailing boxes at a dead letter office, and the Jeffersonian team identifies the victim as an employee of a local Ship ’n’ Print, where the staff recently split the winnings of a lottery prize. The team uncovers a complicated love triangle between two married employees and the victim, and while motive points to the husband (guest star Ben Savage), a critical clue leads them to solve the crime definitively. Meanwhile, Booth’s grandfather (guest star Ralph Waite) breaks some unexpected news, and Special Agent Genny Shaw (guest star Tina Majorino) learns the importance of teamwork. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoThe Twist in the Twister The team discovers the remains of a so-called “storm chaser” who seems to have died while following a tornado. But footage recorded during the storm ultimately leads them to believe he was murdered. Meanwhile, Booth becomes increasingly overprotective of Brennan both at home and in the field, and sleep-deprived Angela and Hodgins come to terms with having Angela’s father and rock musician (guest star Billy F. Gibbons) babysit their infant son. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoThe Crack in the Code A cryptic message penned in human blood is discovered at a national monument. As the Jeffersonian team embarks on a scavenger hunt to solve the case, they realize their tech-savvy suspect (guest star Andrew Leeds) remains one step ahead of them. Meanwhile, Booth and Brennan search for the perfect home for their new family. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoThe Prisoner in the Pipe The remains of an escaped convict are found in a residential sewer, but an examination of the sewer pipes indicates that the murder occurred within prison walls. Brennan insists on solving the crime – despite Booth’s pleas for her not to overexert herself – and the expectant couple experiences a very untraditional arrival of their baby daughter. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoThe Bump in the Road With the help of Special Agent Genny Shaw (guest star Tina Majorino), the Jeffersonian team identifies the remains of a discount shopper and “extreme couponer” who was dragged along the road by an 18-wheeler. Meanwhile, Brennan is adjusting to her first day back at work after giving birth, and Cam disapproves of her daughter’s romance with intern Finn Abernathy (guest star Luke Kleintank). HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoThe Don't in the Do When a corpse is found at a landfill, dyed in a blue substance, intern Arastoo Vaziri (guest star Pej Vahdat) discovers a method that helps eliminate postmortem damages to the corpse, which leads the team back to a hair salon where the victim worked. Meanwhile Bones is feeling uncomfortable in her post-baby body, so Booth decides to do something special to boost her self-confidence.Monday, April 30, 2012

The Movie Star - Smash
There's nothing more exciting than the opening night of a hit Broadway musical, except maybe what happens getting there. While Wicked and The Lion King pack audiences in on the Great White Way, Julia and Tom, a successful songwriting team played by Debra Messing and Christian Borle, begin work on a new musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe. When a tenacious producer (Anjelica Houston) jumps aboard, so begins the difficult task of casting the silver screen icon. Ivy Lynn, a tough Broadway veteran, seems like the obvious choice. But enter Karen Cartwright (Katharine McPhee), a young girl from Iowa with a dream of making it on Broadway who walks in and blows everyone away. So who will get the part and begin a journey that will change their lives? It's an age-old story, but a star just might be born once again. While everyone is consumed with putting the show together, real life has a tendency of getting in the way. Julia and her husband are in the middle of a complicated adoption; the producer's husband begins divorce proceedings which could threaten the finances of the show; and the brilliant but womanizing director could derail everything if he puts the young star in a compromising position. This will be a rollercoaster ride that culminates on opening night when the audience gets to determine whether or not the show is a smash! In the era of The Voice and Glee, executive producers Steven Spielberg and Craig Zadan & Neil Meron (producers of Chicago and Hairspray), and songwriters Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman (Hairspray), bring you the blood, sweat, and tears of the making of a Broadway musical.
HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoPilot The hit-making Broadway writing team of Julia Houston (Debra Messing) and Tom Levitt (Christian Borle) unites with producer Eileen Rand (Anjelica Huston) to create a new musical based on the life of Marilyn Monroe, and seasoned chorus girl Ivy Lynn (Megan Hilty) vies with newcomer Karen Cartwright (Katharine McPhee) for the dream role. Jack Davenport, Raza Jaffrey, Brian d’Arcy James and Jaime Cepero also star. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoThe Callback Ivy (Megan Hilty) and Karen (Katharine McPhee) jump through hoops for the brilliant but temperamental director Derek Wills (Jack Davenport) as they pursue the role of a lifetime. Meanwhile, Julia (Debra Messing) and her husband Frank (Brian d'Arcy James), are frustrated by the red tape of an international adoption process, and Eileen (Anjelica Huston) fights to finance her new musical in the midst of an acrimonious divorce. Christian Borle, Raza Jaffrey, and Jaime Cepero also star. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoEnter Mr. DiMaggio The search begins for a Joe DiMaggio to play opposite Marilyn - but everyone's first choice, Michael (guest star Will Chase), has a secret. Karen (Katharine McPhee) returns to Iowa for a baby shower and must decide what she wants for her future. Eileen (Anjelica Huston) begins rounding up investors - but ex-husband Jerry (guest star Michael Cristofer) may already have poisoned the well. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoThe Cost of Art Karen (Katharine McPhee) must learn to advance in the high-stakes world of Broadway, as Derek (Jack Davenport) hosts a party for hot young star Lyle (guest star Nick Jonas). Eileen (Anjelica Huston) tries a sly new strategy for raising funds, while Tom (Christian Borle) goes on a first date. Debra Messing, Megan Hilty, Raza Jaffrey and Jaime Cepero also star. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoLet's Be Bad Karen (Katharine McPhee) finds a new use for her acting talents as she joins Dev (Raza Jaffrey) at a high-powered government party. The drama between Michael (guest star Will Chase) and Julia (Debra Messing) heats up, as Eileen (Anjelica Huston) and Tom’s (Christian Borle) ambitious assistant Ellis (Jaime Cepero) forge an alliance. Ivy (Megan Hilty) senses trouble in her relationship with Derek (Jack Davenport). Will Chase guest stars. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoChemistry Ivy (Megan Hilty) faces major problems as her voice begins to fail her. Julia (Debra Messing) struggles to avoid Michael (guest star Will Chase) - but she can’t. Eileen (Anjelica Huston) explores her inner hipster at a downtown dive bar with her new pal Ellis (Jaime Cepero), while Karen (Katharine McPhee) is an even bigger fish out of water, as she books a side gig at a bar mitzvah on Long Island. Jack Davenport, Christian Borle, Raza Jaffrey and Brian d’Arcy James also star. Will Chase guest stars. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoThe Workshop Everything comes to a head as Eileen (Anjelica Huston), Derek (Jack Davenport) and the team present "Marilyn The Musical" to would-be investors. Ivy (Megan Hilty) is under pressure to perform, while her mother, Broadway star Leigh Conroy (special guest Bernadette Peters), undermines her at every turn. Karen (Katharine McPhee) must decide between the workshop and a meeting with a big-time music producer. Julia (Debra Messing) and Michael (guest star Will Chase) must face up to the consequences of their actions. Jack Davenport, Christian Borle, Raza Jaffrey, Brian d'Arcy James and Jaime Cepero also star. Bernadette Peters and Will Chase guest star. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoThe Coup The team deals with the aftermath of the workshop. Ivy (Megan Hilty) remains in the dark about her fate, while Derek (Jack Davenport) recruits Karen (Katharine McPhee) to help him steal the musical from Tom and Julia (Christian Borle and Debra Messing). Eileen (Anjelica Huston) must face up to her ex-husband, Jerry (guest star Michael Cristofer), when their daughter Katie (guest star Grace Gummer) pays a surprise visit from India. Raza Jaffrey, Brian d’Arcy James and Jaime Cepero also star. Grace Gummer, Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and Michael Cristofer guest star. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoHell On Earth The team begins their pursuit of a marquee star, as Eileen (Anjelica Huston) charges Tom and Julia (Christian Borle and Debra Messing) with finding a title for the newly reinvigorated musical. Karen (Katharine McPhee) and Ivy (Megan Hilty) find themselves in competition again -- this time for an orange juice commercial. Relationship troubles abound, as Frank (Brian d'Arcy James) makes an unwelcome discovery. Jack Davenport, Raza Jaffrey and Jaime Cepero also star. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoUnderstudy The show has landed a star, the mercurial Rebecca Duvall (guest star Uma Thurman), but Eileen (Anjelica Huston) is thrown into a panic when Rebecca gets stuck in Cuba. Derek (Jack Davenport) puts Karen (Katharine McPhee) in as understudy, but she must learn to perform under extreme pressure as he threatens to break her will. Tom and Julia (Christian Borle and Debra Messing) celebrate their anniversary with a ritual – and face some hard truths about what show business can do to relationships. Megan Hilty, Raza Jaffrey and Jaime Cepero also star. Uma Thurman guest stars. HDTV-14Closed CaptioningVideoThe Movie Star Karen (Katharine McPhee) and Ivy (Megan Hilty) are drawn into an uneasy alliance against their new rival -- but can they overcome their history? The romance between Tom (Christian Borle) and Sam (Leslie Odom, Jr.) heats up, while Julia (Debra Messing) and Frank (Brian D'Arcy James) must put aside their differences to address a family crisis. Dev (Raza Jaffrey) faces a big decision. Anjelica Huston and Jack Davenport also star. Bug fixes aplenty!
- fixed a bug where Camera+ would launch very slowly if you previously had your shooting mode set to Burst (if you’re still experiencing slow launch times, please contact us at http://taptaptap.com/contact with more details so we can help resolve any lingering issues)
- fixed a bug where some user’s photo libraries weren’t able to load after pressing the Magical + Button™
- fixed a bug where a mysterious white line would appear at the bottom of the Lightbox at seemingly random times (our first assumption was that it was some sort of paranormal thing, but after further inspection, it turned out to simply be us using too aggressive of an image optimization setting for the app graphics… science wins again!)
- fixed a bug where we somehow cut the wire that links the optimized quality setting in the menu to the actual function in the app… apologies to those of you who have limited space on your iPhone
- fixed a bug relating to missing date information in the photo EXIF data (apologies for the jargonriffic explanation for this one)
- NOT owned by Facebook
Oh, and speaking of Facebook, we have fixes for the issues that some of you’ve been experiencing with Facebook posting. We decided that it’d be best to hold them for the next release because we need to do much more extensive testing on them, though. But rest assured that we’re on it and you’ll see them in another update shortly.

The rule is simple. Flick your finger with the same feeling in which you would swing a bat in real life. Think of your finger as a bat, and flick it with speed and accuracy. That’s all.
¦ Movement of the ball------------------
Various kinds of throws are materialized into “real-life like” feelings. Different pitches pull out different various kinds of movements. Thus, the batter may miss the timing and would be hard to hit.

What Makes You Beautiful - One Direction
With boyish looks reminiscent of The Osmonds and pop-hooks delivered in heavy doses of tween-friendly flirtations, a boy band like One Direction couldn’t have happened without mentorship from Simon Cowell, everyone’s favorite critic. Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne auditioned for England’s popular talent show The X Factor as individual contestants, but Cowell suggested they form a five-piece vocal group. One Direction's debut album, Up All Night, opens with “What Makes You Beautiful,” a flirty pop hit with flawless harmonies and grappling hooks. The group moves closer to the dance floor with the pulsing “Tell Me a Lie,” a Kelly Clarkson–penned song that contrasts uplifting melodies with lovelorn lyrics of burning adolescent urgency. The singers prove their prowess as balladeers with “Gotta Be You,” an elegantly produced number backed by lush string arrangements and soaring, congruent vocal magic coming together to make one voice. The lads are also adept at belting out arena-sized anthems, as evidenced by the epic “One Thing.” “Stole My Heart” closes with vintage house production.
